How long have you been in business?
Are you solo or have a team?
I have a moving team that is crucial to my business as well as a couple of Staging Assistants that I use occasionally for larger projects.
Describe any specific challenges you are facing
Space! I think I’m outgrowing my warehouse!
What got you into staging in the first place?
I’ve always been interested in Interior Design and I have a love for home accessories and furniture so Home Staging was the right fit for me. I got introduced to the previous owners of First Impression Home Staging through a friend and began helping them on staging projects.
When they found out they had to relocate to the East Coast, it was the perfect opportunity for me to purchase and grow my own business, getting to do what I love.

Stay at Home Mom
What do you know now that you wished you knew on your first day of business?
Don’t under value yourself or your time.
What has been your biggest business challenge and how did you overcome it?
Time. I always want to accommodate all my clients. When I have been booked up with staging jobs, I have to be grateful for that and not try and squeeze in other appointments. I overcome it by not overextending myself and accepting the fact that “you can’t win ’em all”.
What objection have you heard from a client and how did you overcome it?
*knock on wood*…. nothing yet! 🙂
